Q. I’ve placed an order for a touring caravan from one of your branches and am awaiting delivery, what happens now?

A. By now, you should have been contacted by your sales person to confirm initial postponement, hopefully for three weeks as per the government guidelines. Keep an eye out on our website and social media channels for when we will re-open, all rearrange handovers will be confirmed when we return. If you haven’t been contacted, in the circumstances we apologise but ask for understanding in a fast-changing environment.

Q. I’ve got a caravan in the workshop for repair/after-sales work, is my caravan secure whilst with you?

A. Each site has been thoroughly locked down, even further than our normal security procedure. Each site has extremely high security and during this enforced closure we have taken every precaution. Our workshop teams will be in touch when we return to advise on when you can collect your caravan. 

 Q. My caravan is due to be serviced, with the close down, will this affect my manufacturer’s warranty?

A. Most manufacturers have contacted us to let us know they will relax service rules to maintain manufacturers warranty, therefore at this moment in time we do not see any issues. This is obviously at the discretion of manufacturers, not The Caravan Company Group. 

Q. I have an issue with my caravan and it is under your warranty, what can be done?

A. Unfortunately, until government guidelines are relaxed our workshops are closed and are unable to provide support during this time. If you contact your relevant workshop team when they re-open they will do everything possible to help. Please note, our staff our working hard in a challenging time so they will attend to your query when they are able to once returned to work.

Q. I’ve never been in a caravan, but in the circumstances, I would like to know more about how a caravan purchase would suit my requirements, can you help?

Q. I know what I want, can I reserve it for when ‘normality’ is restored?

A. You can reserve any caravan, subject to our approval, for a refundable reservation fee of £500. Please see https://www.thecaravancompany.com/covid19response/ for our updated sales process. We have live images and 360 degree panoramic views of every caravan within our group stock.

Q. When will you return to normal?

A. Quite simply, we do not know the answer at this point in time. We will keep you updated via our website and social media accounts.
